Consortia Participation

Consortium participation in the LibQUAL survey is viewed as a mutually beneficial arrangement through which the consortium obtains valuable service quality information and comparisons across their membership, while ARL benefits from the large number of participants. Consortium arrangements also stress the importance of serving the continuing commitment and participation of consortium members in the LibQUAL project, in order to help it grow and develop.

Consortia receive a number of added benefits that are not provided to individual participants, including:

• A group report combining results for all consortium members (offered to consortia with five or more institutions participating in a given year).
• The ability to add five additional questions to the survey as a unified group; data from those questions will be included in the group notebook.
• The ability to benchmark your results with a group of peer institutions.

 The LibQUAL project has been greatly enhanced and enriched through consortium participation. Consortium participants have included:
